This light, but deliciously rich and creamy cheesecake is intentionally crustless to preserve and not detract from its evenly lush texture. It delivers warm caramelized tones of crème brûlée from the carefully browned (not burnt or bitter) surface and a smooth texture like New York style cheesecake, without the dense and heavy mouth feel. And this is why we coined the apropos phrase, "Basque Cheesecake is crème brûlée and New York cheesecake's baby."
Don't be fooled by the Original Basque Cheesecake's seemingly petite 6" size! It happily serves ~6 people. Great for any time of day or occasion; people even love it as a birthday cake.
